Fountain Valley School District trustees may split kindergarten classes into morning and afternoon tracks at their meeting Thursday. The board will consider approving a split-track program after reviewing an advisory committee’s study on whether it would help schools maintain the 20-student-per-teacher ratio. Kindergartners are now taught in the smaller classes for only half of the day because of a lack of space. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at district headquarters, 17210 Oak St.
