As part of the ninth annual Julius Margolis Lecture, former Secretary of State Warren Christopher will discuss nuclear risks at UC Irvine’s engineering lecture hall from 7 to 8:20 p.m. today. Titled “Chain Reaction,” the speech will address the present danger of nuclear weapons proliferation, focusing particularly on the dangerous confrontation between India and Pakistan and international efforts to defuse it.
