The City Council on Tuesday will consider a resolution that supports a new nonprofit group’s efforts to restore and utilize the historic buildings at Villa Park Elementary School. The proposed resolution urges the Orange Unified School District not to demolish the buildings.
Councilman Robert E. McGowan is proposing the resolution as a way to show city support for Villa Park Elementary Restoration Corp., which is raising money for preservation work.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers, 17855 Santiago Blvd. Information: (714) 998-1500.
