Several citizens were honored Friday at the Chamber of Commerce Awards and Installation Dinner. Betty Frazier was named Citizen of the Year, Danny Jacobsen and Eleanor Calas were named Youths of the Year, and the Chamber of Commerce award was given to the La Habra Journal. The other honorees were Shirley Walley, George Rochester Professional Award; Freddie Tucciarone, Virgil Fouts Memorial Award/Committee Member of the Year; Larry and Martha Fairfield, Harmon Jenson Service to Youth Award; the Rev. John L. and Dorothy Knox, Lifetime Achievement Award; and Chevron Co., Chamber Appreciation Award.
