In recognition of National Public Works Week, city staff will host an equipment display today, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Mitchell Elementary School, 13451 Taft St. Students will get a tour of 12 machines and vehicles. The equipment demonstration is an annual event to educate the community about the role public works plays in maintaining a city. Information: (714) 741-5385.
