2 Fugitives Tied to Wyoming Robbery

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Two men who eluded hundreds of officers last year during a hunt for the killers of a Colorado police officer may have robbed a restaurant in remote Wyoming, authorities said Thursday.
Alan Pylon and Jason McVean have been sought for nearly a year, ever since a police officer in Cortez, Colo., was raked with automatic gunfire during a traffic stop.
The men were chased by more than 500 officers at one point. Pylon and McVean, who are said to be practiced survivalists, disappeared into the desert.
On Wednesday, two men wearing military boots and ski masks stole $500 from a restaurant in South Pass City, Wyo. A witness identified the two fugitives from a police photo.
