Grand Opening for Job Center Planned
The Santa Clara Valley Job and Career Center will have its grand opening Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
County Supervisor Kathy Long will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The center, one of nine countywide, has been serving the community since July. It shares space with the county’s Human Services Agency Intake and Eligibility Center at 725 E. Main St. in Santa Paula.
Tours of the facility, refreshments and entertainment will be available for local officials and the community. Shuttles will take visitors to the Ventura College East Campus Center on Dean Drive, another facility that provides education and training to job seekers.
