Iwerks Reports Loss of $1.6 Million

Iwerks Entertainment Inc., reported a net loss for the first quarter ended Sept. 30 of $1.6 million compared to a loss of $1 million for the same period last year. Revenues increased slightly to 47.6 million compared to $7.4 million. The company attributed part of the loss to its touring operation which it plans to sell.
Iwerks provides high tech entertainment systems utilizing wide format film software and ride simulation.
