Monday is Columbus Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
* Government: Ventura County, state and federal offices will be closed.
* Courts: The county courthouse will be closed.
* Schools: Most schools will be open. The Hueneme School District will be closed.
* Banks: Most banks and savings and loans will be closed. Check with your bank for hours.
* Mail: There will be no regular mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
* Trash: Most trash service will follow the regular schedule.
* Metrolink: Trains will run on their regular schedules.
* Transportation: Ventura County Transit services will be available.
