The Placentia Cultural Arts Commission will meet at 7 tonight in the meeting room at City Hall, 401 E. Chapman Ave., to discuss plans for the city’s annual holiday celebration Dec. 10. Commissioners also will discuss final preparations for the Youth Art Workshop from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Backs Community Center, 201 N. Bradford Ave. This year’s workshop will feature instruction in ceramics, cartooning and watercolor for elementary school children. Cost is $2 per child. Parents can preregister at City Hall.
