Don Watson, retired city treasurer, died Saturday. Watson was appointed treasurer in October 1987. He was elected to the post in 1988 and was reelected in 1992. He retired in October 1995.
Watson and his wife of 48 years, Beverley, had four children.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster. A service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel.
