Micro Therapeutics Gets Sales Nod in Japan

Micro Therapeutics Inc. said Wednesday it received approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare to market neuro vascular access products in Japan.
The Irvine pharmaceutical company said it will begin shipping the products immediately. The products provide access to remote brain vessels and allow for the removal of blood clots.
