Woman Dies After Leaping From Freeway Overpass

A woman plunged to her death onto an Anaheim Hills freeway Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident, reported about 9:45 a.m., occurred on the Riverside Freeway at Kramer Boulevard.
The woman jumped onto the freeway from the Kramer overpass, landing in an eastbound lane, police said. No vehicles struck the woman.
She was alive when CHP officers arrived at the scene, but she died before she could be taken to a hospital.
The woman had not been identified by Saturday evening, the Orange County Coroner’s Office said.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Michael Bustamante said the death was being investigated as a possible suicide.
