Federal Bus Order

Re “Judge Orders MTA to Buy 248 Buses to Relieve Overcrowding,” Sept. 24: This order emanates from a federal judge. Why is a local, relatively insignificant issue a matter of federal concern? This is one of many city and state issues into which the feds seem to want to become involved. Is it micromanagement or a totalitarian repression of state rights? What about the 10th Amendment to the Constitution? Is there none in our state or city government worried?
