Beauregard Gives USA a Tie With Greece

Former Marina High standout Robin Beauregard scored the tying goal with one second remaining and the USA women’s water polo team rallied for a 4-4 draw with host Greece in the opening round of the Thetis Cup Tournament Wednesday in Athens.

Ryan Keller, a senior guard on the Los Alamitos High basketball team, has been named a Presidential Scholar at Chapman, where he intends to play next season, his parents, Don and Gail Keller, said.

Keller, a first-team All-Sunset League choice, averaged 12 points and 4.5 assists last season. He made 225 free throws at Los Alamitos, second best in school history.
