Street closures are scheduled during the city’s annual 10K/5K event, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Sections of 1st Street, Ocean Avenue, Seal Beach Boulevard, Electric Avenue and Main Street will be temporarily closed and reopen after all participants walk/run past. The race starts at 8 a.m. on 1st Avenue and Marina Drive. Committee members estimate 1,200 runners and walkers will take part.
