Johnson: Problems Can Still Be Solved
Assistant Dennis Johnson was like most people when he joined the Clippers’ coaching staff on Feb, 4. He believed the Clippers didn’t need too much to turn things around and that the players only needed to be shown how to win.
But after watching the Clippers lose night after night the last 10 weeks, Johnson’s view has somewhat changed.
“Before you can fix [anything on the court] you may have to repair the communication part,” Johnson said. “And I don’t know if it is the hardest part.”
“But I think any situation can be easily fixed. . . . I would love to be here when everything is fixed. I know it will happen one day. Will I be a part of it? I don’t know.”
