Cal Lutheran University has been accepted as a member of New Media Centers, a group of universities and companies that promote the use of new technology in the classroom.
The Thousand Oaks university is one of 11 new members to join nearly 100 institutions this year.
As a member of the group, CLU will be able to improve the faculty’s teaching methods by using new technology in the classroom and in virtual classrooms, according to Lynda Paige Fulford, director of public information for the university.
