2 Children Found Dead in Car Trunk at Home

ABILENE, Texas — Two children were found dead inside the trunk of a car parked in front of their house, police said.
A teenager staying at the house Saturday discovered the bodies of Dylan Nagle, 6, and his sister, Kelly Boisjolie, 4. A pet kitten also was found dead in the trunk.
Officials are awaiting autopsy results but believed the deaths were caused by a combination of the near-100-degree heat outside and lack of oxygen.
The children’s mother was home when the bodies were found, said Abilene Police Sgt. Mike Perry. He said there was no evidence so far that anyone placed or locked the children in the trunk.
