Irvine 77, Tustin 32--Kristin Thawley and Jody Carlson each scored 14 for host Irvine (21-3). Heather Wall scored 12 points for Tustin.
Huntington Beach 57, El Monte Arroyo 43--Amy Sanders scored 38 points and had 14 rebounds for Huntington Beach (14-10).
No. 7 Mater Dei 50, Capistrano Valley 45--Maile Shimoda (19 points) hit a three-pointer and made two free throws in the last minute, accounting for five of her 12 fourth-quarter points, to lead Mater Dei (19-6). Lindsay Peloza and Nicki Howard each scored 16 for Capistrano Valley (15-9).
No. 5 San Clemente 59, No. 8 Santa Margarita 45--Four players scored in double figures for San Clemente (21-3), led by Kimberly Noble, who scored 13 points. Whitney Jones had 11 points, 14 rebounds and eight steals for the Tritons. Colleen O’Leary led Santa Margarita (16-9) with 15 points.
In the Academy League:
St. Margaret’s 56, Orangewood Academy 24--Monique Kettler had 19 points and 22 rebounds for host St. Margaret’s (6-10, 4-5).
In the Sea View League:
Laguna Hills 67, Aliso Niguel 33--Megan Aaker’s 17 points and 10 assists led Laguna Hills (13-12, 4-3).
