A 28-year-old celebrity photographer was being held in lieu of $1-million bail Sunday after Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said he stalked Barbra Streisand and her husband, James Brolin, from the San Fernando Valley to Malibu.
The man, identified as Wendall Wall, was arrested about 4:20 p.m. Saturday and booked on suspicion of stalking, said sheriff’s spokesman Mark Bailey.
Streisand and Brolin told deputies they were driving on the Ventura Freeway about 2 p.m. when they noticed they were being followed, Bailey said. The couple pulled off the freeway and drove to the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station.
Two hours later, Streisand and Brolin were driving along Pacific Coast Highway near Zumirez Drive in Malibu when they saw the same car on their tail, Bailey said.
The pair flagged down a deputy, who took the suspect into custody.
