County Supervisor and former City Councilman Jim Silva will host a “Senior Summit” on Thursday to encourage the construction of more affordable housing for the county’s older residents.
Guest speakers at the free public meeting will include developers, property managers, county officials and representatives from Brea and Laguna Woods.
The city’s Council on Aging is co-sponsoring the meeting from 9 a.m. to noon at the Central Library, 7111 Talbert Ave. Reservations are recommended. Information: (714) 834-3220.
