Diagnostic Test Maker Names President, CEO

Worldwide Medical Corp., an Irvine maker of rapid diagnostic and educational tests, said Monday that its board has appointed Daniel G. McGuire as the company’s president and chief executive.
McGuire, a graduate of Cal State Long Beach, replaces H. Thad Morris, who recently said he would resign.
McGuire formerly was president of Worldwide Sales Management Corp., a Southern California marketing and consulting firm. Previously, he served as vice president and general manager at the Sara Lee Corp. packaged goods company.
