The city’s new Magnolia Park Family Resource Center, 11402 Magnolia Ave., will have a grand opening celebration at 6 p.m. today.
Sponsored by the Community Services Department and the Family Opportunities Creating Unity and Support (FOCUS) collaborative, the new center will provide adult education, after-school recreation, job training and youth leadership programs.
The center will also serve as the headquarters for FOCUS, a collection of 22 family service providers that serve the city and surrounding communities. The free event will include music, games, displays and refreshments and is open to the public. Information: (714) 741-5200.
