Drama students at Trinity Pacific Christian School will present “The Best Christmas Play Ever” in Thousand Oaks this weekend. The production is an adaptation of Barbara Robinson’s book, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

Solo Theater
Theater 150 in Ojai will begin another installment of its “Solo Series” on Friday, in which solo performers explain what it’s like to be them. The new production stars Spencer T. Campbell in “Love and Death in the Garden of Eden.” Campbell, a Nordhoff High School student, acts the true story of the pursuit of his first girlfriend.

Ballroom Dance
The Ventura County chapter of the U.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Assn. will host an open dance for all experience levels Sunday at the Simi Valley Adult Center. The afternoon will begin with waltz lessons from 2 to 3 p.m. Dancing will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Families, couples and singles are welcome.

Family Musical
The Theater League will open the musical favorite “Annie” Tuesday at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
