The Placentia Champions Sports Complex will be getting special grooming soon. Council members approved the purchase of a John Deere ball field maintenance vehicle that would cost $8,358. The city now grooms the ball fields by towing a drag mat behind a vehicle. The new vehicle is designed for field grooming and will be used daily.
