Alemany Hopes to Be as Good as Gold in Its New Uniforms

Alemany High, a.k.a. Florida State, unveiled its cardinal and gold uniforms patterned after the Seminoles.
No one has been more excited about the new uniforms than running back De’Andre Scott.
“He went to the UCLA-Alabama game [last week] and he said he was going to go nuts in a Florida State uniform,” Coach Craig Schuler said.
Do new uniforms really help a player?
“You know how those kids are about the way they look,” Schuler said.
The Indians spent $3,000 for the new uniforms. Previously, Alemany’s uniforms were similar to the Washington Redskins. The gold no longer is similar to USC’s uniforms.
“We got rid of the USC colors,” said athletic director Tim Browne, a UCLA graduate.
