Oxnard Airport Flights OKd Despite Complaints

VENTURA — The County Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved a lease agreement with Mesa Airlines to bring two more flights to the Oxnard Airport, despite opposition from residents of the neighborhood nearby.
Critics said the flights, which will connect Oxnard with Mesa’s home airport, Phoenix, will create extra noise and hamper the county’s chances of moving commercial flights to Point Mugu.
