The Irvine Ranch Water District next month will begin building a new pipeline designed to increase the amount of reclaimed water it can provide for landscaping and other irrigation purposes.
The 24-inch pipeline would connect the Michelson Water Reclamation Plant to Ridgeline Drive, extending from the plant south along Harvard Avenue and then east on University Drive to Ridgeline Drive.
The first part of the project, from the plant to Harvard Avenue, will not affect traffic. But construction along Harvard and University drives will result in some lane closures from late October through May 2001. Information: (949) 453-5300.
