CMG Worldwide, an international licensing and merchandising company, has moved into the top floor of the former Playboy Building in West Hollywood.
The 10-story building, now known as 8560 Sunset Boulevard, recently opened as the first phase of the giant Sunset Millennium project, which will include a hotel, shops and a live-performance theater. Building owner Maefield Development Corp. completed an extensive renovation of the office tower on the Sunset Strip near La Cienega Boulevard. It is asking $3.50 a square foot a month for rent, according to CoStar Group Inc.
CMG will share the 70,605-square-foot office building with Creative Theme Restaurants Inc., USA Intertainment Inc. and Kopelson Entertainment.
