Police Seek Help in Finding Deaf Woman

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman, a deaf Afghanistan native who does not understand English.
Helai Zurmati, 52, who lives in the 500 block of East Valencia Avenue in Burbank, has been missing since Sunday morning.
Police described Zurmati as 5 feet tall and 105 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. When last seen at 9:45 a.m. Sunday sitting outside her house, she was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, a gray scarf and white pants.
