MONTGOMERY, Ala. — With no bowl game this season for Penn State, the Nittany Lions settled for a strong showing in the Blue-Gray All-Star Classic.
Penn State running backs Eddie Drummond and Omar Easy each had short touchdown runs, lifting the Blue to a 28-10 victory in the Blue-Gray All-Star Classic on Tuesday.
Easy had 49 yards in 12 carries
It was a long day for the offenses, with the Gray squad committing five turnovers and none of the quarterbacks reaching 100 yards passing.
The Blue’s most valuable player was Northwestern linebacker Kevin Bentley, a former Van Nuys Montclair Prep star.
Nevada’s David Neill, a former Newhall Hart High standout, completed one of nine passes for 20 yards for the Blue.
