Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 103, Long Beach State 88--Chris Bjorklund scored 23 points and Watende Favors added 20 as the Mustangs shot 56% from the field and won the rebounding battle, 43-29, to win at San Luis Obispo.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (8-12, 2-7 in the Big West), trailing by nine points, went on an 18-2 run take a 40-32 lead with 4:51 left in the first half. The Mustangs opened the second half by outscoring Long Beach State, 19-6.
Long Beach State (12-11, 5-5), which has lost three in a row, was led by Ramel Lloyd’s 30 points. Lemi Williams contributed 22.
Travis Reed scored 18 points for Long Beach State.
