County public works officials have announced plans to repair an earthquake-damaged storm drain on Woodley Avenue near Van Nuys Airport.
Bids are being accepted for the repair of a reinforced concrete box storm drain between Saticoy and Strathern streets.
The work is expected to cost $80,000 to $110,000 and take 50 working days to complete, said Joel Bellman, spokesman for Supervisor Zev Yarlslavsky.
Minor traffic delays on Woodley Avenue may result from the project, which will run April through July.
County officials will examine all bids on Feb. 6 and soon after send their recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
