Regarding the article about France’s Cote Vermeille area (“Adrift on the Ruby Coast,” June 17): We too loved picturesque Collioure two years ago. You did not mention the “Petit Train” tour, which winds above the town through the vineyards, stopping at the castle on the hill. We had an awesome view of the town.
We stayed two nights at the Princes de Catalogne on Rue des Palmiers, in the heart of town, a new bed-and-breakfast with all the amenities. The local wines are exceptional, and the Catalan-French cuisine is excellent.
