2 Killed, Man Held in Dispute Over Campsite

MORRO BAY, Calif. — A Morro Strand State Park ranger shot and wounded an alleged gunman who killed two people in an argument over a campsite, authorities said Sunday.
San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s Sgt. C.J. Bell said they received a call about 6:55 p.m. Sunday from park rangers requesting help in a campsite dispute.
A park ranger, whose name was withheld, shot and wounded the alleged gunman. His name and condition were unknown. The victims’ names were not immediately determined.
