Update--The Sparks have treated Lisa Leslie gently in practice this week while she recovers from the hyper-extended right knee she suffered in Saturday’s victory over the Seattle Reign. She expects to play today for the Sparks, who have won 10 in a row, two shy of the team record. Sacramento has won five of eight in July, but the Monarchs are still smarting over their 83-68 loss to the Sparks on Thursday. Monarch center Yolanda Griffith was outplayed by Leslie in that game; she would love to return the favor today if Leslie can’t move well.
