San Dimas 3, Lompoc 2--In Division IV, Rhiannon Willey had four of San Dimas’ six hits, and her second double, in the fifth inning, started the winning rally that overcame a 2-1 deficit. Nicole Bouchereau and Robin Christopher singled, and Bouchereau scored the decisive run when the ball went past the left fielder for an error.
Junior Lindsey Johnson (11-3) pitched 6 2/3 innings of emergency relief for San Dimas (24-5) after starter Erica Spano broke her finger in a collision at home plate. Lompoc scored twice in the first, then Johnson gave up only three hits and one walk the rest of the way.
San Dimas won its first title, and Lompoc finished with a 19-12 record.
