Law Firm Leases 3 Floors in Former Ahmanson Building

Mani Bros. Real Estate Investment has leased three of the top floors in the former H.F. Ahmanson Co. headquarters building at 660 S. Figueroa St. in Los Angeles to the law firm of Manning & Marder, Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez.
The new tenant will get its name on a sign atop the turreted copper roof of the downtown landmark.
The 10-year, $13.5-million lease for 47,272 square feet of office space was announced by Mani Bros. and John Marder, a founder of the law firm.
The lease includes an option on the penthouse of the 24-story building, built in 1989 by Ahmanson’s commercial development division.
Mani Bros. was represented in-house by Joseph Mani and Gregory Camacho. Manning & Marder was represented by Clayton Hovivian of Cushman Realty.
Manning & Marder, founded in 1994, has 80 lawyers, with offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Irvine and San Francisco.
Mani Bros., a privately held real estate investment firm, owns, renovates, operates, manages and leases nearly 1 million square feet of commercial property. It was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in downtown Los Angeles.
