3 Charged in Slaying of Gardena Man at Party

Three men have been arrested in connection with a fatal weekend shooting, authorities said.
Police arrested Gregory Michael Harris, 22, of Norwalk; and Adrian Anthony Valdez, 18, and Alejandro Garcia, 25, both of Artesia. All were charged with murder in the death of David Ybarra, 26, of Gardena, who died early Saturday after being shot in the chest while leaving a party near Pine and North streets in Anaheim. Police said the incident happened after two groups of guests got into an argument about 2:30 a.m.
Following leads provided by witnesses, Anaheim police searched a home in Artesia on Sunday night, where they recovered two weapons and arrested Garcia and Valdez. Harris was arrested a short time later in San Gabriel.
