Valencia’s Christianson Wins SCPGA Division

Brandon Christianson, 15, of Valencia shot five-under-par 67-72--139 to win the boys’ 12-18 division of the SCPGA Foundation Toyota Tour Cup event at Torrey Pines in La Jolla on Monday and Tuesday.
Mike Rim, 17, of Lakewood, Justin Ancheta, 15, of San Diego and Brett Kanda, 14, of La Crescenta followed at one-over 145.
Sommer Scholl, 14, of Riverside shot a 71-83-154 to defeat second-place Grace Woo, 14, of Burbank (80-80--160) to win the girls’ 12-18 division.
