CardioGenesis Starts Trading on Nasdaq

Shares of CardioGenesis Corp., a Foothill Ranch medical device company specializing in the treatment of cardiovascular disease, started trading Thursday on Nasdaq’s national market system under the new symbol CGCP.
The company changed its name last week from Eclipse Surgical Technologies Inc. and moved to Orange County from Sunnyvale. Its stock had traded under the symbol ESTI.
CardioGenesis stock closed Thursday at $2.88, down 4 cents a share.
