* Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. tapped Global Crossing Ltd.’s vice chairman, Joseph Clayton, as president and chief executive. Clayton, 52, succeeds David Margolese, who stepped down last month when Sirius announced a delay in the launch of its digital audio programming service.
* Cable operators Cox Communications Inc. and AT&T; Corp. each said they’re building high-speed Internet networks, in anticipation of a possible shutdown of their Web access provider, Excite@Home Corp. A bankruptcy judge will rule on the issue Friday.
