Cerritos Golfer Wins Junior Amateur Scholars

Garrett Sapp of Cerritos shot 70-71--141 and won the boys’ division of the Junior Amateur Golf Scholars Costa Mesa Summer Series tournament Thursday at Costa Mesa Golf Club.
Sapp, 15, defeated Rick Costello by two strokes to win his second consecutive JAGS event.
Jennifer Osborn of Huntington Beach shot 81-79--160, beating Tina Eng of Monterey Park by nine.
