Salvation Army Limited by Its Rules, Reader Says
- Share via
The Salvation Army’s adult rehabilitation centers help thousands of mostly younger people every year stay away from drugs and alcohol to begin recovery. For this they are to be commended. But an almost equal number are not helped because they fall victim to the Salvation Army’s overly restrictive rules. So there’s the Salvation Army, so close to God and so far from being as helpful as they easily could be. What a shame.
