Canucks Knock Off Coyotes, 4-3

Henrik Sedin scored the game-winning goal 33 seconds into the third period and had an assist as the Vancouver Canucks moved back into a playoff position with a 4-3 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday night at Vancouver, Canada.
Henrik took a crisp pass from Ed Jovanovski, skated in alone and beat Sean Burke with a forehand-to-backhand move that gave the Canucks a 4-2 lead.
Todd Bertuzzi and Brendan Morrison also had a goal and an assist for the Canucks, who moved into an eighth-place tie with Edmonton in the race for the final Western Conference playoff spot.
Chicago 3, Calgary 2--The Blackhawks scored three first-period goals and withstood two goals by the NHL’s top scorer, Jarome Iginla, to defeat the Flames at Chicago.
Iginla became the first player in the league to score 50 goals this season, reaching the plateau on a power-play goal with 18.2 seconds left in the first period.
Colorado 4, St. Louis 2--Backup goalie David Aebischer made 30 saves as the Avalanche defeated the Blues at St. Louis to move into second place overall in the Western Conference.
Joe Sakic had a goal and two assists for the Avalanche, which clinched its eighth consecutive Northwest Division title Saturday night when the Kings defeated Edmonton.
New Jersey 3, Boston 2--Scott Niedermayer scored on a breakaway with 1:43 left in overtime at East Rutherford, N.J., and the Devils defeated the Bruins for their third consecutive victory.
Carolina 1, Atlanta 1--Yannick Tremblay scored with 19 seconds left in regulation at Raleigh, N.C., lifting the Thrashers into a tie with the Hurricanes and keeping the Southeast Division race interesting with a week left in the season.
Montreal 3, Ottawa 1--Shaun Van Allen scored twice and Jose Theodore made 34 saves at Ottawa as the Canadiens extended their winning streak to six games and moved within a victory of clinching a playoff berth.
Buffalo 5, Tampa Bay 3--Curtis Brown had two goals and an assist at Tampa, Fla., as the Sabres ran their undefeated streak to five games.
