Rapper’s Family Sues City Over His Slaying

The family of slain rapper Notorious B.I.G. is suing the city of Los Angeles, alleging that the Police Department did not do enough to prevent his murder or to search for the killers.
Christopher G.L. Wallace was shot outside the Petersen Automotive Museum in 1997.
The lawsuit alleges that an officer was involved in the shooting, and that police did not pursue the investigation once they suspected one of their own.
