Burns Gets Qualifying SAT; to Sign With UCLA

Fairfax High forward Evan Burns, a McDonald’s All-American who averaged 22.7 points and 10.5 rebounds for the City Section runner-up, has achieved a qualifying SAT score and will sign with UCLA over the weekend, Lion Coach Harvey Kitani said.
Burns, who will play tonight in the national all-star game of the Jordan Brand Capital Classic at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C., committed to the Bruins in September.
