Man Dies in Fall From Courthouse

SANTA BARBARA — A man fell or jumped to his death from the top of the city’s historic courthouse Friday, landing in a fountain near a popular spot for weddings and receptions.
Police say several witnesses saw the man, who appeared to be in his 50s, plummet down about 5 p.m. He died from traumatic injuries. Police did not identify him.
