A 125-acre fire came close to homes on the eastern edge of Yorba Linda on Sunday, but winds pushed it northeast into a state park and no evacuations were required, authorities said.
The flames came within about 200 feet of homes in a neighborhood by Chino Hills State Park.
The fire broke out just after 5p.m. About 130 firefighters battled the blaze.
Late Sunday, fire officials and Brea police arrested two 15-year-old boys for allegedly starting the fire by playing with fireworks.
